How to apply for a VOG
A VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag) is the Dutch certificate of conduct. It shows that your past is no obstacle to working with children. Every NannyNest nanny has one. Applying takes ten minutes; the VOG usually arrives within one to four weeks.
Cost
€33.85 digitally via NannyNest, or €41.35 at the municipality. No VAT.
Processing time
Usually 1 to 4 weeks, sometimes up to 8 weeks.
You need
DigiD and iDEAL (digital), or a valid ID and the form (municipality).
No criminal record?
Then you always get a VOG. Not sure? Email us, we'll think along.
Two ways
- 01
Digitally, via NannyNest
We prepare the application in MijnJustis. You receive an email from Justis, check your details, log in with DigiD and pay €33.85 with iDEAL. The application code is valid for 30 days. [INVULLEN: available once NannyNest has eHerkenning]
- 02
On paper, at the municipality
We fill in section 2 of the official application form and send it to you. You fill in section 1, book an appointment at the municipality where you are registered and bring the form and a valid ID. You pay €41.35 there.
